Maras and Moray are two unique attractions in the Sacred Valley, they stand out among other sights because of their simplicity and meditative beauty.  You will drive high up above the Urubamba valley past the village of Maras to the stunning concentric terraces of Moray, believed to of been a center for agricultural experimentation.

After exploring the three sets of terraces you will drive to the salt mines of Maras, where you will witness the salt miners, whom continue to harvest the salt out of the saltwater spring through evaporation in thousands of terraced pools, a tradition carried on for over 2000 years.  A beautiful one-hour hike brings you down to the Urubamba River. 
Moray and Salineras can also be visited on horse back or mountain bike.
