Dear Friends of El Albergue,

We send you greetings from the Inca town of Ollantaytambo, we hope you are well and that you always remember your visit to El Albergue and the Sacred Valley.

Our Blog  will include current news, we will also sahre info on new destinations and activities in our area, festivals and customs, as well as information about our artisan distillery and Matacuy, about the alternative school, Kuska School and Valle Sagrado Verde, our reforestation and restoration of natural areas. We hope you will be interested in receiving these occasional emails with short chronicles from life at 2,800 meters above sea level.  Also, please stay tuned for special offers and extraordinary trips and events.

For now we want to tell you that after two extremely tumultuous 3 years in which we survived the pandemic and more recently the protests and social conflict, we are now ready to receive you once again in your home in Ollantaytambo. Our Pachamanca services, restaurant, cafeteria, Chuncho restaurant, Distillery, Hostal El Balcón are all open to the public every day of the year. Likewise, all the archaeological sites in the valley and the jewel that is Machu Picchu are receiving daily visits.

That is all for now,  we say goodbye saying in Quechua "Tupananchiskama" until we meet again!!

Sincerely,

Wendy Weeks and the El Albergue family

Sinceramente,
